patternkit 8.x-1.0-alpha2

Greetings Pattern people! Pattern partiers? Pattern pipers.

Whatever we’re called, Patternkit is now available in Alpha 2 - The WYSIWYG update!

New Features

• Added a basic WYSIWYG editor (Quill). It may have some issues, depending on which theme you’re using, but handles image embeds and keyboard typing just fine. Why not CKEditor? We have a branch up, but it requires that you use the Drupal Admin theme for Patternkit which is just… we’ll put admin theme improvements in the backlog.
  
• #3153733: Drupal 9 Release Drupal 9 support! Patternkit will probably not crash Drupal 9. We’ve tested it in production, as you do.
• Upgrade-in-place support! You can now `drush updb -y` to your heart’s content from previous versions of Patternkit, including dev releases. You’re welcome.

Bug Fixes

• #3167101: Patternkit is not displaying in the correct library in Layout Builder Restrictions UI Fixed an issue where the pattern category displays were not being translated properly, resulting in a sticky category for modules like layout_builder_restrictions. We’re still not convinced this isn’t a Drupal core flaw, but we digress.
• #3164565: Not able to place example block and getting error while try to add patternkit block Resolved an error that occurred for some users placing blocks in the site-wide block layout GUI.
• Resolved an error that resulted in an empty library listing on the Patternkit settings page.
• #3173915: Class 'Drupal\patternkit\PatternLibraryParserBase' not found in FilePatternLibraryParser.php Fixed the file library parser so that it no longer prevents libraries such as ‘file.svg’ or ‘file.twig’ from loading properly. Sorry about that.
