Draft: DO NOT MERGE: for clearer review of Merge Request 1

This Merge request is not intended to be merged, as it is non-functional.

A lot of the work in this first round of cleanup/renaming is hard to see in the proper merge request: !1 (merged)

This is because file renames are seen as separate delete file, new file operations, so the differences aren't shown.

This merge request compares all changes to a pseudo-branch (renamed) which is JUST the file renames.

That way the "changes" reflect actual diffs from the original files.
