Release notes
This is the first release of the Google Analytics module supporting Gtag 4.0.
What is new in this release?
- Updated to support newest gtag4 standards
- Can run multiple accounts within the same settings interface
- Backwards compatible with Universal Analytics and analytics.js (UA- accounts)
With the 4.x release, all Drupal customers should be able to update both from 8.x-3.x and 8.x-2.x versions of the module. The only reason to continue using the 2.x version of the module is if you implemented custom javascript or code that depends on the 2.x module.
