Removes the CI-only composer require --dev --no-update "twig/twig:<3.30" line from .gitlab-ci.yml on 3.1.x, with the comment that explained it. This undoes the temporary pin from #3625777; nothing else changes.

  • Drupal core fixed the Twig 3.30 TypeError in #3625969, released in core 11.4.8, 11.3.18 and 10.6.18 (every supported line).
  • Verified on 10 October 2026: a fresh Drupal CMS build of Varbase Starter (core 11.4.8, Twig 3.30.0, no pin) installs and renders with no errors.
  • vardot/drupal-core-patches 11.4.0.8 (released 10 October 2026) dropped patch #3465033, which no longer applied to core 11.4.9, so pipelines on core 11.4.9 can patch again.
