fix: #3277510 Select list values incorrectly truncated

SHS values to the editor look lost when a validation constraint stops the node edit form from being saved. The patches in this issue fix the problem if there are more than 1 shs value but the values are lost for a single shs value. A combination of the patch and what is already in the module fixes the issue.
