  • PHP 8.5 compatibility
  • PHPStan passes up to level 6, on Drupal 10 as on 11
  • Every file declares strict types.
  • PHPMD annotations are dropped, PHPMD being obsolete.
  • Development tools now come from core-dev and the CI templates.
  • Queues accept items written by other applications and any time service,
  • Queue service documents what releaseItem() reports.
  • The watchdog filter no longer directly writes to $_SESSION.
  • The reported MongoDB library version is the real one,
  • countCollection() is deprecated.
