Instead of returning false which fails to complete in some cases. I assume the "False to prevent further handlers" stops some actions in some cases.I got the previous patch to work with 9.5.6 but that was on a content type when I tried in a layout builder block for out website you could click the list of items but the filled won't be pre populated with the block.
