Sets the Horizon Aid recipe version to 1.0.2 ahead of the tag. Three files, +49 / −17:

  • composer.json — "version" set to 1.0.2, and all 14 drupal/varbase_*_base cross-dependency pins plus drupal/vartheme_bs5_horizonaid moved from 1.0.x-dev to ~1.0.0.
  • README.md — the version badge moved from 1.0.x--dev to 1.0.2.
  • CHANGELOG.md — a new ## [1.0.2] - 2026-09-10 section with ### Fixed, ### Changed and ### Known issues.

No functional change to the recipe itself: this commit is release metadata only.

What is in the 1.0.2 release

This is the cycle that makes Horizon Aid install cleanly on plain Drupal CMS with no patches of any kind.

  • fix #3622092 — install canvas_page_template_component from the recipe. drush site:install recipes/horizonaid on stock drupal/cms used to abort with You have requested a synthetic service ("kernel"); it now exits 0.
  • fix #3621847 — remove the nineteen Canvas Component config entities shipped in the fallback state. The install logged 477 PHP warnings from Drupal\canvas\Entity\Component::getSlotDefinitions() and now logs zero.
  • fix #3621848 and fix #3622140 — the header search box uses a plain form instead of the search page's Views exposed block, and the results page renders its own inline exposed form again.
  • fix #3622112 — rename user 1 so the functional suite can log in; shorten the two job names.
  • fix #3622114 — clear the restored cmssite directory before composer create-project.
  • task #3622094 — build only a Drupal CMS host in CI and run the functional suite against it.

Verification

  • Pipeline 955725 on 2ab0d3d (the parent of this commit, and the current 1.0.x head) finished green: 25 of 25 jobs, including all 18 of 18 functional buckets, plus Composer validate, YAML lint, Cspell, ESLint and the Cucumber dry-run.
  • Fresh local builds on plain drupal/cms (Drupal core 11.4.6, drupal/canvas 1.11.0, PHP 8.4, DDEV, no patches) install at exit 0 with zero warnings and zero PHP errors, every menu route returns HTTP 200, and the result is 70 nodes / 8 Canvas pages / 74 media with vartheme_bs5_horizonaid as the default theme.

Note for the reviewer — one known issue, NOT fixed in this release

A fresh install can leave a stale cache, so the first web request fatals site-wide with:

PluginNotFoundException: The "redirect" entity type does not exist.

Running drush cr clears it and the site is then fully correct. This is tracked separately at #3620718 and is not resolved by this merge request.

Note on the new constraints

The green pipeline and the local installs above both resolved the base recipes at their 1.0.x-dev branch tips. A build against the newly pinned ~1.0.0 constraints is being verified separately, before the tag is cut.
