This is the first release of Currency 7.x-2.x. It offers a wide range of new features, such as:

  • Many more predefined currencies
  • Administer currencies through the administration interface
  • Localized price/amount display (display prices in formats that are specific to users' locales)
  • Currency conversion uses plugins instead of Yahoo! Finance only
  • Reusable form elements
  • Token support

Existing sites that use Currency Exchange 7.x-1.x will most likely have to be upgraded to use Currency 7.x-2.x.
