Summary

  • Support Drupal 11.4 and Drupal 12 in Cloud 9.x, with updated theme and Kubernetes client dependencies.
  • Resolve static analysis issues in the Kubernetes request signature, AWS launch handling, and Views data helpers.
  • Limit Cloud Dashboard to Drupal 11.4 and later in the Drupal 11 series. Simple OAuth and Consumers do not yet provide Drupal 12-compatible releases.
  • Document the prerelease theme constraints required by Composer projects with stable minimum stability.

Validation

  • Drupal 11.4.11 and Drupal 12 development CI (PHPUnit split into three complete, non-overlapping shards per version): pipeline 1025828.
  • On PHP 8.5.12, install Drupal 12.0.0-beta2 and enable the base Cloud module in an isolated SQLite site. Drupal reports Cloud Dashboard as incompatible and rejects its installation on Drupal 12.
  • In a stable-minimum-stability Composer root, explicitly permit the Rigel alpha and Bootstrap5 beta dependencies. The Drupal 12 test used a local copy of this branch and additional prerelease constraints for Drupal core and Drush; it did not test a published Cloud alpha package.
