Initial implementation of multi-column menu dropdown based on patch from DO-2917168-59 and the work from @bsuttis, @rotator, @oneillo, @tostinni, @stefanos.petrakis, @galileo25, @lyafel, drintios and @adriancid.

Multi-column menu dropdown:
If the dropdown menu is too long vertically, it gets broken down into multiple columns displayed horizontally, so it fits the view port.
