Extend the content reminder with the possibility to turn off "Mail author"
In WIM there is a content reminder functionality that will inform people when content is about to expire. This would send a email notification to the author of a node and additional email addresses that are added. We have added a checkbox at the bottom to also make the email notification to the author optional.
When using none-Bean blocks on pages, the ‘Aria’ label is not available.
This is not in accordance with parts described in WCAG ‘Success Criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships)’.
There now is also a ‘Aria’ label field for elements like the menus and views which can be added as Block.
When adding a new block to a menu, it will show at the ‘Add block’ screen.
You can now use synonyms in combination with SOLR to connect results.
Important!
To be able to use synonyms you must have SOLR 6+ installed and configured in a way that it uses the managed resources with the collection name “mytag”.
Currently WIM is standard using SOLR 4.
This update contains new features as well as security updates for the following:
- Core 7.65 -> 7.66
- Module filter 2.0 -> 2.2
New features
Search - More control over important results
You can now boost the importance of particular content in the search results by making them promoted. This can be achieved by editing the content and then on the bottom going to the publishing options and check “sticky at top of list”.
Note that this requires a re-index of the search, otherwise it won’t show.
Search block autocomplete
We added an optional module that extend the search function with an autocomplete. This will help visitors find what they are looking for more easily.
Note that this module must be enabled by the vendor or someone with the permission to enable module. You can find it under the apachesolr_autocomplete name. After enabling it will work out of the box.
WIM Block usage
Content managers can now see if the blocks they made are being used on different pages. This helps in keeping content organized by deleting unused blocks. The block usage page can be accessed under Content -> Block usage and can be filtered on usage status and type.
Site managers can also configure the view to only show a specific type of blocks under Configuration -> Block Usage Settings.
In the last update the bootstrap version was incorrect. Has now been corrected to the latest version:
- Bootstrap 3.16 -> 3.22

In the last WIM release, we implemented the CVDR module. We have added the following two improvements:
When retrieving the results from a XML it returns HTTP URLs even when the URL is accessible through https. We added a check to see if the URL is available on HTTPS and use it.
The CVDR now prefers the official title above the regular title.
Webform result emails (Ticket #66)
Webform results will now send emails in HTML by default, allowing to add your own styling to the results making it more readable.
Filter adding blocks (Ticket #64)
When adding blocks to a certain page the list can be really long and this will take a while to find the correct block. Now a filter has been added where you can search for the blockname that you want to add.
