This is our monthly planning meeting for 2020 camp, affectionately known as O'MidCamp.

Here is the meetup link: https://www.meetup.com/drupalchicago/events/264013538

Comment below on what you've done for MidCamp for this meeting for community credit.

Below is a copy/paste of the agenda and notes (it ain't pretty).

Stuff and Things
General reminder to create metas and child tasks for all that you are doing for MidCamp on d.o
Let’s start leading the meetings with a milestone update

Organizer Meta (Anyone)
Talk has happened about moving more frequent meetings to Slack similar to the way that DDI and API First have their meetings -- JD
I’ve looked into automating this using Google Doc’s API, and out of the box that’s gonna be a no from me, however if we were to convert this doc to markdown prior to the slack meetings, it may be less painful.
Suggestion: could a Slack standup-bot work?
https://howdy.ai/
https://standup.teaminator.io/
Should we come up with a more clear org chart since we’re getting more and more organizers willing to help? (This is a GOOD thing) -- JD
And job descriptions

MOSA (Andrea / Kevin)
No update

https://gist.github.com/froboy/063ce305975e724574a0c920a1d91131
A few new photos were taken onsite for braille sign. Andrew Olson has them.
Live Captioning updates
Used on this meeting as transcript!
Need to outline next steps in the Project view.
Create a Live Captioning collective and then hit the MOSA OC to apply.
Idea: blog post on how to use Live Captioning for any event.
Idea: transcribe all sessions from last Midcamp. LC works via computer speaker, so can watch video and transcribe.
Add transcript to session pages. View like NPR transcriptions. Example format here.
There’s another app that will do existing transcripts: https://otter.ai/
YouTube has auto captioning
https://rogueamoeba.com/freebies/soundflower/ is an option for routing computer output to an input directly instead of via speakers

Volunteers (JD / Qymana)
No updates

Code of Conduct (Qymana / JD)
Community CoC training is now a thing.
JD and Qymana have filled out the interest form. JD will be scheduling a class to attend in nearish future.
I would pay for my own training if that’s a thing? -- Andrea
