I've been doing Drupal since about 2007, the 4.7 days. I mostly do project management, site architecture, sales, business management, because it's my company, and I'm the only one that's got the keys to that part of the kingdom. And we've got three employees plus myself, and we've been going since 2005, doing Drupal since 2007. And, yeah, so that's where we're at. I've got a number of nonprofit organizations. I run the Fox Valley Drupal Meetup, which is out west of Chicago, and we may be using the member platform for that, and I'm certainly interested in And the CRM components of things as well. So that's my introduction. So with that, we have a functional spec out there, and I think Luke's got the issue queue up. Is that for CRM or is that for the member platform? Okay. I guess since the last release. Sure, sounds good. It starts about here, maybe here. Sure. Sure. So I'm going to run through it briefly in an actual demo, but I'm fighting. There we go. Remove some stuff, just the maintenance. Gave an admin UI section for the details. We got the comments working correctly again. We implemented the permissions, so when your user and your contact are mapped, roles can be given permissions to view or edit their mapped contact. This is some legacy stuff we removed. Contacts have birthdays and, I guess, dates of death, but we call them start date and end date because, right, otherwise it's too morbid. We use those fields. We created an age field based off that data. Yeah. We corrected some stuff. Probably would have been more useful if I just started here. Maybe we have comments. So, all right, the machine name is start date, and this is end date, but you can customize these labels. We should make that a little older, I guess. All right, they're 23 years old. This is when they were born. That's when they died. I guess we didn't do anything here. We added this thing here in the admin section because... It's useful. We did some updates to the documentation. So, right, we've got how the entities are sort of related from an object perspective, and then we show you how they're related from a database schema perspective, right? These three are all the same entity types. They're just different bundles. Right, we've got that for some of the other ones, nothing terribly fancy. We've got some code coverage metrics because I like charts, I guess. These are two items that we were sort of waiting on. This one allows you to have a view, or it gives you an option to customize it. Maybe I should go back and explain first. So, we talk about being... Able to map contacts to users. So right here's the user admin, map to the person admin. This is a bug in the name field or the name project. It's been fixed but hasn't been released yet. So if we were to come in here to this contact. So right there, it's not terribly exciting. But, um, hmm. Oh, my mistake. I'm sorry. We have to enable this setting. It's not on by default to overwrite the display names. Now I'm not completely sure why it hasn't changed. Well, I'm sure that's a bug. Oh, hmm. No, I guess that is a bug. All right, that's the demo, I guess. Or at least what's changed since then. So this section needs to be rewritten for the role of that person rather than an individual. So I will take on editing this section here for the persona of an organizer. And make it more generic rather than individualized. So I. I figured I would pick up on that part. So we've got, for personas right now, we've got organizer, we've got visitor, prospective member, we've got a member, we've got an outgoing member, and an offline member. And I guess prospective, that's for an attendee, I guess, rather than a prospective member. And then we've got an event attendee, and a site administrator. So those right now are the identified personas that we are including in this document, as far as who we're modeling this system for. And we're looking at it from the standpoint, I guess, of a relationship of both the member platform and CRM. Or maybe that's just a section in the functional doc for the membership platform. But it strikes me that prospective member, member, retiring member are all the same person at different points in time. Correct. I agree. So, so I don't, it doesn't feel to me like they should be perceived as being different. Even if like, you know, at those stages in their career, I mean, personas are not people, right? You know, they're. Or, I don't know, I feel like... Like maybe, maybe they're not different people, right? Like if it's a different role, like a, it's a member. Is it important that they're not yet a member, you know, friends you haven't met yet? Like, can we call them, you know, I guess, if you're at the study, you want to say as a potential member or, except, I feel like that's baking too much into it. Like, what if they're not? You know, they're really just a casual visitor, right? They're an uninterested stranger. Maybe we need to simplify this so that we can move it forward a little quicker or easier. I know when we were working on the project browser, what we ended up doing there was we were writing things more as user stories to start with. Rather than identifying what the personas were. And then those user stories would include things like get into the functional requirements. I think if they were to rejoin, they would presumably take on the same features. So I think an ex-member is just a member. I don't think that's actually any different. Whether they're, you know, if they delete their membership, then they don't exist. They become a visitor. And maybe that's the characteristic. Now, in terms of perspective. That's just like not a member. That's just a visitor.
