This release consists of a single change that allows integration from Layout Builder Browser. See #3258292: Compatibility with Layout Builder Restrictions module. If you are not using Layout Builder Browser, there is no immediate need to update to this release.

The 8.x-2.6 release introduces significant new functionality to Layout Builder Restrictions. Specifically, block restrictions can now function as whitelists or blacklists, and a new sub-module provides the ability to restrict blocks by specific layouts, or even by specific regions in layouts.

Minor bugfix release and general code maintenance. The one notable issue is that this release fixes incompatibilities with the Mini Layouts and Dashboards modules (it does not provide restrictions for those components, due to their different entity structure, but it prevents fatal errors with the modules are used alongside Layout Builder Restrictions).

No action needs to be taken during the module update
