Hello!</td> </tr> <tr> <td>irinaz</td> <td>hi</td> </tr> <tr> <td>kimb0</td> <td>Kim, AU </td> </tr> <tr> <td>dww</td> <td>Derek </td> </tr> <tr> <td>tyler36</td> <td>Hi </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Juraj Nemec</td> <td>Hi </td> </tr> <tr> <td>wimleers (he/him)</td> <td></td> </tr> </table> <h2>1&#65039;&#8419; Do you have any topics to propose for the meeting today? Feel free to propose them in this thread, and then I will give them their own unique threads for discussion. Conversation moving slow? Go ahead and open your own thread in the next numeric order.</h2> <table> <tr> <td>Juraj Nemec</td> <td>In the lights of the new PSA about D7 EOL, what is the priority to have D7 GitlabCI working? I suppose it would be needed in some phase, if we want to migate completely to GitlabCI before January 2025. Here is the original thread from the previous discussion: <a href="https://drupal.slack.com/archives/CGKLP028K/p1684352246346779">https://drupal.slack.com/archives/CGKLP028K/p1684352246346779</a></td> </tr> </table> <h2>2&#65039;&#8419; GitLabCI</h2> <table> </table> <h2>2&#65039;&#8419; 1&#65039;&#8419; We launched GitLabCI for everyone prior to DrupalCon, and we're beginning to see folks use it! This is worth celebrating :tada:&nbsp;(edited)&nbsp;</h2> <table> <tr> <td>kimb0</td> <td>Do you have a link to the announcement? I missed it </td> </tr> <tr> <td>hestenet (he/him)</td> <td>Talked about it during the initiative keynote: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bCEO-fEiAkAnd">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bCEO-fEiAkAnd</a> the d.o panel: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSM4p9rultQ">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSM4p9rultQ</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td>hestenet (he/him)</td> <td>I should do a text-based announcement too tho..</td> </tr> <tr> <td>tyler36</td> <td>That would be great @hestenet (he/him)</td> </tr> <tr> <td>kimb0</td> <td>yeah there are few people here who were unaware, and I was hoping to post them a link</td> </tr> <tr> <td>hestenet (he/him)</td> <td>I'll work up a post soon. In the meantime the docs page is pretty up to date with instructions: <a href="https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/git/using-gitlab-to-contribute-to-drupal/gitlab-ci">https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/git/using-gitlab-to-contribute-to-drupal/gitlab-ci</a></td> </tr> </table> <h2>2&#65039;&#8419; 2&#65039;&#8419; We're getting ready to enable CI in all the issue forks as well, since this is a crucial feature and we did auditing before and at DrupalCon to make sure we could manage resources for this.&nbsp;(edited)&nbsp;</h2> <table> </table> <h2>2&#65039;&#8419; 3&#65039;&#8419; In light of the January 5th 2025 D7 EOL date, how does this affect plans for D7 GitLabCI support&nbsp;(edited)&nbsp;</h2> <table> <tr> <td>hestenet (he/him)</td> <td>Raised by @Juraj Nemec</td> </tr> <tr> <td>hestenet (he/him)</td> <td>I don't think this affects our plans too much for a few reasons:We could keep DrupalCI around just for D7 testing, but that's not an ideal solution, because DrupalCI only works with d.o issues. We want to try and move issues to GitLab relatively quickly (I'd love to have the first projects moving before Lille) I also suspect that once we actually dig into it, getting a D7 template working probably won't be a huge challenge? I think it's mostly been a matter of finding the time.</td> </tr> </table> <h2>3&#65039;&#8419; GitLab IssuesThe work towards migrating GitLab issues is the next major priority - that will involve:Deploying our SSO solution for the D10 pages for contrib credit/fork managementDeploying those tools (credit content type, fork management)Migrating existing issue creditCreating a project opt-in processHaving some folks try it outSetting a bulk migration date for everyone else. (edited)</h2> <table> <tr> <td>markdorison</td> <td>Is there a target timeline for any of this?</td> </tr> <tr> <td>hestenet (he/him)</td> <td>They are roughly in priority order. We are more tightly focused on trying to get the secure signing for auto updated in place for 10.2, but this is the second highest priority. I'd very much like to be walking people through the opt in process in Lille like we just did for the gitlab ci stuff in Pittsburgh.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>markdorison</td> <td>Excited to help test this out</td> </tr> <tr> <td>cmlara</td> <td>I&rsquo;ll reiterate my belief that PATS need to be enabled before reaching &ldquo;having some folks try it out&rdquo; (we need the replacement for the project_issues D7 API)(Or we need to remove API limits for anonymous users)&nbsp;(edited)</td> </tr> <tr> <td>wimleers (he/him)</td> <td>What&rsquo;s &ldquo;PATS&rdquo;?</td> </tr> <tr> <td>luenemann</td> <td>It's PATs, Personal Access Tokens.&nbsp;(edited)</td> </tr> </table> <p>Participants:</p> <p>Juraj Nemec, kim.pepper, hestenet, tyler36, markdorison, cmlara, Wim Leers, luenemann</p>
