I was reminded of this in the discussion of <span class="drupalorg-gitlab-issue-link project-issue-status-info project-issue-status-7"><a href="https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/1050616" title="Status: Closed (fixed)">#1050616: Figure out backport workflow from Drupal 8 to Drupal 7</a></span> and also when I managed to open an issue with the exact same title as another one against core (except D6 so not in my default searches) and didn't notice for a couple of weeks.</p>
