>>> [!note] Migrated issue <!-- Drupal.org comment --> <!-- Migrated from issue #3540523. --> Reported by: [phenaproxima](https://www.drupal.org/user/205645) Related to !591 >>> <p>Our Drupal CMS Olivero subtheme was always intended to be a shim until we had proper Experience Builder support in Drupal CMS 2.</p> <p>Since we are now actively working the 2.x branch and converting the Drupal CMS Starter recipe into a "blank slate" for Experience Builder, it probably makes sense to cut Drupal CMS Olivero loose.</p> <p>What this means:</p> <ul> <li>We will remove it from our repository and subtree split.</li> <li>It will continue to exist as its own project on drupal.org, and be marked as minimally maintained. We'll keep the lights on, but cease adding any features or any bug fixes beyond the essentials.</li> <li>It will never receive a 2.0 release, or probably any release except for new tags in the 1.2.x line.</li> <li>Once Drupal CMS 2 is released, it will be marked as obsolete to prevent new installations.</li> </ul>
