Run a set of user interviews to inform Starshot marketing

The interviews aimed to discover what users like and don&rsquo;t like about their current CMSes, which helps inform both UX and feature opportunities for Drupal CMS and clarifies how it must be marketed to stand out amongst competitors. Perceptions of Drupal and shortcomings in competing products will help us define how to market Drupal CMS to dispel concerns and misconceptions and make the product appealing in a market dominated by other players.</p> <h3 id="summary-proposed-resolution">Methodology</h3> <p>Participants were guided through virtual interviews ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. They provided answers to questions about their role, team structure, CMSes used, current content publishing processes, the importance of accessibility, security, and user privacy, reasons why they chose their CMS, features they&rsquo;d look for in a new CMS, how they leverage digital marketing tools and analytics platforms, their perception on the role of AI in their work with CMSes, and their perceptions of Drupal.</p> <ul> <li>8 x research interviews conducted</li> <li>Mixed personas from 'builders/ mixed hats', 'content editors' and 'marketers'</li> <li>CMS's used by interviewee's included Wordpress, Joomla, Adobe Experience Manager and Concrete</li> </ul>
