Make sure the directory has been created and make sure you have that directory has write permissions (that is, chmod to 755). This directory has to be inside the <i>files</i> directory you set up in <i>administer &gt;&gt; settings &gt; File system settings</i> (<code>?q=admin/settings</code>). </li><li><b>Additional options</b> <ul> <li><u>Default picture:</u> You can choose a picture for users that have not selected a picture. </li><li><u>Picture maximum dimensions:</u> Maximum dimensions for pictures. Format is <i>width</i> x <i>height</i> in pixels. Ex. 30x50 = 30 pixels wide, 50 pixels high. </li><li><u>Picture maximum file size:</u> Maximum file size for pictures, in kB </li><li><u>Picture guidelines:</u> What you write here will be displayed to your users underneath the default instructions. You can configure how your user pictures are displayed for all themes (global settings) or theme by theme (individual theme settings). You can choose to display user pictures in posts or comments.
