- Field: saving unchanged input is no change to the entity (no new
  translation-affecting revision).
- Widget: phrase and "sort as" folded into "Phrase and sort order"; a help
  popover beside the date, with a help page (examples as the site reads
  them, named dates, GEDCOM).
- Reads "early", "mid" and "late" decades ("late 1950s").
- Reads a month with a two-digit year ("3/46", "Mar '46"); the century is
  asked for unless the new "Two-digit years" setting fixes it.
- Warns about dates entirely before the earliest date ("46").
- Years up to 9999 only.
- Usage: a name inside a longer name is not a use of it.
- Examples and tests use well-known dates instead of railway ones.
