Merging Canvas AI work is blocked because only a small set of people have merge rights. The goal is to unblock Canvas AI development by clarifying who can approve and merge what, without moving Canvas AI to a separate project.</p> <h2>Proposed Resolution</h2> <p>Add @akhil babu and @marcus_johansson as code owners for <code>modules/canvas_ai/</code> in the root <code>CODEOWNERS</code> file, and give them Write to VCS on the Canvas project on Drupal.org so they can merge MRs.</p>
