Save page should have a quick save option

## Problem/motivation

Currently saving a Canvas page forces the user into a multi click review lane for every edit:

  • click "Review changes" to open the popup,
  • click "select",
  • click "Publish".

The "Review changes" tells me which pages I have changed - this is helpful if I have changed multiple pages and I need to remind myself which pages I have changed, or perhaps in a multi-user conflict scenario. But if I have just done a quick edit on the FAQ page then I don't need a Review changes popup to tell me I have edited the FAQ page.

If I have added a new sdc to my page, I have seen how it looks in the Canvas UI, I like how it looks, I just want to save it. So for simple edits, the multi-click review just adds friction, and requires extra explanation for editors new to the Canvas UI

Proposed resolution

This friction could be removed by adding a quick save option, so then rather than forcing the user into a multi-click review lane for every edit, the user can decide - is this a simple edit where I can just do a one click save? or is it a more a complex edit where I need the "Review changes" popup? So the quick save option is in effect pre-selecting the "Select all" and then "publish selected" options - which is what I want to do in 99% of page saves. In terms of my caret mockup, I would prefer the quick save to be the default / visible option and I suspect that this is the most common use case for Canvas users - but the caret mockup would still be a quicker workflow even if Review changes is the default option and quick save was a dropdown option.
