Canvas pages listing lacks auto-appearing language column and language filter, despite listing all translations

The Drupal core content list has an auto-appearing language column which shows up if the site is multilingual. It also has a language filter. Canvas also lists all translations individually in the pages list like the core content admin list but it lacks a language column to explain what is what and a language filter to allow to filter it. When the title is the same there is no way to tell which one is which one.

(There is a separate problem that the Edit links always edit the original version but Canvas does not even provide anything to edit translations so that cannot be solves inside Canvas itself).
