<p>Doing a scan for compatibility based on <a href="https://www.drupal.org/node/2924272" title="php compatibility check">this article</a> I came across:</p>

<p>Follow the instructions in <a href="https://www.drupal.org/node/2924272">https://www.drupal.org/node/2924272</a> and scan the code.</p>
<h3 id="summary-proposed-resolution">Proposed resolution</h3>
<p>Completely untested or investigated but maybe change references of "$this" to use drupal::service() or in example of line 24 something like:</p>
