<h3 id="summary-problem-motivation">Problem/Motivation</h3>
<p>There has been recent confusion about the development sprint process due to a number of issues such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>Contributor planning tab being locked when not all partners have filled it in</li>
<li>Not knowing when an issue should be tagged for innovation vs product development</li>
<li>Issues being tagged for a sprint without consultation with the module maintainer</li>
</ul>
<p>And, although the general process has been explained during dev planning meetings, we will have new partners join regularly, and we need to point them to the docs so they can understand the process.</p>
<p>Lastly, this will be a place where we can refine our processes, so leadership and management can better work together.</p>

<p>Some of this documentation may already exist. It needs to be pulled together and structured and gaps filled.</p>
<p>Create document that includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Adding availability to the planning sheet</li>
<li>Attending and participation in meetings</li>
<li>How to demo work</li>
<li>etc</li>
</ul>
<p>We can assume the partner has gone through the contract and general onboarding process and contributors have already filled out the contributor profile form. Meaning, the partner has been handed off from general onboarding and is starting to engage.</p>
