<h2>2️⃣ 1️⃣ <a href="https://www.drupal.org/project/ai/issues/3554242">Discussion about deprecation/removal policy</a></h2>
<table>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>Basically, we want a smooth transition from a (not quite, but still) monolith ai module to the core (with added ai_agents) plus submodules in the contrib space</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>The "Drupal core" way is to mark removed modules as deprecated in the current stable branch (would it be 1.2.x or not-yet-existing 1.3.x?), and remove them in the next major (2.0.x)</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>Main concern/objection against this approach is the faster pace of AI development, so that there probably won't be enough time for AI users to prepare to the separation</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>and as a result, people would be confused/pissed off when 2.0.x is out</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>What's your opinion on this?</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>artem</td>
<td>I would like also to remind about the composer namespace problem. Unfortunately, no updates in the ticket[#3553545]</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>artem</td>
<td>there is a ticket for Gin going into core (create even after our ticket) and there the discussion is active, but nobody seems to be checking our issue :disappointed:</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>artem</td>
<td>if somebody knows drumm or other people who are responsible for the packagist, maybe it is time to poke them and ask what needs to be done in order to get this changed</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>@artem that sounds like a blocker indeed, no matter which way we choose.You can ping drumm in #drupal-infrastructure, he's quite responsive usually</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Kristen Pol (she/her)</td>
<td>I’ve seen a similar issue before with the namespace and was told at the time there was nothing that could be done but that was years ago</td>
</tr>
</table>
<h2>2️⃣ 2️⃣ Contribution meeting frequency</h2>
<table>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>We started the regular meetings in the beginning of the year, when they were once in 2 weeks. To speed up communication and prepare better for DrupalCon Vienna, it was suggested that we meet once a week.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>Now that DrupalCon Vienna is over, should we get back to bi-weekly meetings, or you feel that weekly meetings should be continued?</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Dunx</td>
<td>I'm used to it being weekly now, but wasn't here when it was bi-weekly. No strong opinion either way.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Tyler Staples</td>
<td>Same as Dunx. Im happy for either but would need to remember to update my calendar event haha</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>matthews</td>
<td>I like the weekly cadence unless there is bandwidth issues for you @valthebald in prepping for it.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Kristen Pol (she/her)</td>
<td>I prefer weekly but not a big deal if it’s biweekly</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Dunx</td>
<td>Perhaps it could alternate with the makers meeting. They were both starting at the same time (may not be after daylight savings change) and I appreciate this one is async.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>matthews</td>
<td>That shouldn't be the case after Sunday when the clocks fall back in the US.</td>
</tr>
</table>
<h2>2️⃣.3️⃣ Summon QA or UX...</h2>
<table>
<tr>
<td>Dunx</td>
<td>What's the best way to call for QA or UX involvement in an issue? Discussed between a few of the makers last week. Suggestions included some new issue tags that could be used so QA and UX people could more easily filter/find tickets they could assist with. Any other suggestions from the community?</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>@Dunx recently opened meta[#3533631] is the one to follow i think</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Dunx</td>
<td>Also #ai-quality-assurance channel for those interested. The question was really about the mechanics of helping UX and QA people get more involved. For the devs, looking at issue queues in d.o is common. How do we make it easier for UX and QA people who will probably never have jumped in to those queues? (edited)</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>maddyt</td>
<td>Hi hi, for QA, we have created <a href="https://www.drupal.org/project/ai_initiative/issues/3550700#comment-16322144">this</a> ticket to track the involvement of QA in Drupal AI.Primarily, we propose introducing issue tags "Needs QA" and "Needs UX" that can be regularly used as a way to flag the opportunity for collaboration with QA and UX contributors - this will create a "filter-able issue queue" allowing QA/UX contributors to get more involved and help improve the user experience from the get go. Test notes/guidance would be much appreciated in these cases!We also have a QA scrum on Wednesday's at 2.15pm GMT if anyone is interested in collaborating/sharing ideas on setting this up! (edited)</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>bbruno</td>
<td>Nice to know @maddyt Thanks!</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>bbruno</td>
<td>There is currently also:<span class="drupalorg-gitlab-issue-link drupalorg-gitlab-link-wrapper"><a href="https://git.drupalcode.org/project/ai_initiative/-/work_items/3550408" class="drupalorg-gitlab-link">https://git.drupalcode.org/project/ai_initiative/-/work_items/3550408</a></span> aiming at looking over and improving the UX of existing functionality and user journeys</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>maddyt</td>
<td>left a comment to suggest a similar process!</td>
</tr>

<table>
</table>
<h2>2️⃣ 5️⃣ If you use Drupal CMS, I’m curious what AI features do you think are “must have” with that as your base? </h2>
<table>
<tr>
<td>Kristen Pol (she/her)</td>
<td>Some obvious ones are search, alt text assistance, and Canvas AI features, but maybe there are some super useful but less obvious things</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>ChatGPT-like chat bot for anonymous users with site-specific knowledge (I think @Marcus Johansson calls this "naive RAG search")</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>also, faster start</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>valthebald</td>
<td>need some navigation over the overwhelming number of AI-related modules</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Dunx</td>
<td>Content categorisation (site wide tagging) and SEO meta tag completion.</td>
